Under Graduate Programme

B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree programme started from academic year 2022-23 with intake of 64 students. Further 63 B.Sc. (Ag.) students of IARI Assam also got admitted during 2022-23. For academic year 2023-24 total of 64 students got admitted at institute, along with 59 students of IARI, Assam.

Post Graduate Programme

IARI Jharkhand started its academic programme as PG Outreach institute under Post Graduate School, IARI New Delhi from its foundation year 2015. As of now, total 132 students admitted in M.Sc./M. Tech. at ICAR-IARI Jharkhand in 8 academic years out of which 112 students have completed their degrees. Since Academic Year 2023-24, PG programmes are running in the following four PG Disciplines.

3. Fruit Science
4. Soil Science

Facilities for Academics

The institute has built up an academic-cum-administrative building also named Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Bhawan consisting of 6 classrooms including one smart and one virtual classroom, one library, one study room with computer facility and 4 laboratories for 3 different schools, one farm building, agricultural farm, horticultural farm and technology park. Beside this, for accommodation of students, one boys' hostel with 174 rooms and one girls' hostel with 150 rooms are available within the campus.
